Can New York Republican Senators Count On Gay Support?

I should hope that they can. These people were there for us when we needed them, and we need to return the favor. We need to show the GOP that coming out in favor of Equality is more politically beneficial than relying on the support of the likes of NOM.

NOM Wants Revenge After NY Vote

thegreyking:

The National Organization for Marriage went a step further in announcing a reported minimum $2 million campaign in the 2012 election cycle to “hold politicians accountable for their vote” in hopes of “overturning same-sex marriage in New York.” The Los Angeles Times had earlier reported the figure at “more than $1 million.”

You know what? I think that pro-gay organizations should repay those Republicans that are responsible for this law’s passage by campaigning in their favor to counter the inevitable backlash they will be getting from NOM and their allies.

It is time to make Marriage Equality and Equal Rights a Bipartisan issue.

We need to show those GOP lawmakers that are at least a little open minded that it’s in their political interest to side with us over them.
